Guided Burbot/Walleye Fishing on Lake Roosevelt
« on: January 21, 2013, 08:37:15 AM »
We are offering 5-6 hour fish along Guided Burbot (Ling Cod) and Walleye Trips On Lake Roosevelt. If interested now is the time to fish for the Burbot a hard pulling fish, since winter is when they bite the best. These are some of the best eating fish around. Most call these fish the poor mans Lobster. The Walleye are starting to bite as well so these are a mixed bag fishing trip. The Walleye fishing will only get better from here out. Give me a call or email me about these trips. Picture is from last weekend on a hunting/fishing day, we only kept a few but boated over 30 Burbot. Craig 509-999-0717 www.yjguideservice.com

Heading out today to see if we can make lightning strike twice. Whoever wants to make one of these trips get ahold of me the river is dropping a ft a day and great fishing might not last long.

We did great today caught 20  and kept 10 nice ones in a little over a couple hours of fishing biggest fish about 6lbs. It was great fishing with you Dale hope you had fun.  Anyone wanting to fish for these the river is dropping so fishing might get slow in a couple weeks better get out there now, but we'll see how it goes.

thanks for a great trip, had a lot of fun and it was great fishing with ya.  If any of you guys are borderline it is worth it.  A great guide and lots of fish.  Don't get much better.  Hot coffee in a thermos would of been fantastic but don't think we would of had time to drink it. lol
Thanks again

Took out our local game warden today and we caught 30 fish in a few hours and took home some nice 6lb fish. Fishing is still going good so far. Get ahold of me if you want to try it. These fish taste awesome, like lobster.

Dec-march depending on water levels, colder the better.  They are starting to spawn this time of year. We have had days where you catch 30-50 and others where you just get your limit which is 5 per person.
